South Mountain
Woodcraft is based on the premise that wood and stone are works of art
in their natural forms. As an artisan, Scott Tumblety seeks to enhance
and display these forms, crafting rustic pieces that reflect the materials’
inherent beauty and encorporating them into functional as well as decorative
objects. In this way a fieldstone may become a tabletop and a tree limb
a base. If there is meaning to this art, it is simply this: Can the art and environment you chose to create around yourself bring you closer to the earth from which we all originated? |
